My name is Dulce Gomez-Marin. I’m a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been practicing since 2011 and have worked with people of various backgrounds and ages who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.
As a client centered therapist, I believe in the healing power that a safe human connection can bring to others. My goal in treating individuals is to establish an authentic therapeutic relationship and use this to help explore their worries, past traumas, and life stressors without fear of judgement. I rely on this therapeutic alliance to gently guide individuals into safely processing these experiences while developing skills that can help heal and reduce emotional pain.
I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families who initiate mental health services to address various concerns such as: developmental, emotional, existential, and motivational to promote personal growth toward more profound meaning and well-being. I have experience working with adults who are on the autism spectrum or suspect they may be neurodivergent. I offer counseling and advocacy for individuals who are neurodiverse. We decide upon goals as a team.
